We had a blast teaming up with the Science Museum of Minnesota on three comedy pieces built to show off how fun and welcoming the museum really is. Speeducate is a mockumentary that frames quick conversations between strangers as speed dating, turning each exchange into an easy entry point into science and the museum’s exhibits. Chem-attitudes is a faux-infomercial that hypes up chemistry like it’s the next must-have product on late-night TV. And Edu-cathalon is a mock sports broadcast, with a correspondent recapping the highs and lows of fictional museum “events” featuring everyday visitors. Three different genres, one shared goal: prove that science is for everyone, and that the museum is a place to laugh, learn, and have a good time.
