About Us

Kylee & Christian is a Minneapolis-based production company built on story-driven documentaries and short form branded content.

Founded in 2013, the studio produces documentary-style films for schools, nonprofits, and arts organizations, along with scripted content and photo shoots. At the heart of every project, Kylee and Christian are cinematic storytellers who bring ideas to life on screen.

When they’re not on a client project or working on their own scripted series, you can find Kylee and Christian spending time with their kids, watching movies, writing, and camping throughout the Midwest.

Kylee started out photographing the beauty of living, mainly her family and friends, and has always been the designated photographer on road trips.

Christian made his first film in high school, selling out his hometown theatre on all three screens. Those early passions guided their paths and still shape the work they do today.

Kylee and Christian met on a shoot. She was directing a hip, youth-oriented church service with seven cameras and needed another operator. A mutual friend passed along Christian's name, and the rest followed.

They got married, worked for other production companies and marketing firms, and in 2013 they brought their two crafts together under one roof: a home for Christian's filmmaking, Kylee's photography, and the story-driven work they wanted to make side by side.
