We partnered with HGA to capture the story behind the Westwood Hills Nature Center, the firm’s award-winning, net-zero design for the City of St. Louis Park. The short film blends conversations with the project's architects and the nature center’s staff to walk viewers through the thinking that shaped the building, from the bark-inspired exterior and the subtle kink in the floor plan to the landscape that’s already starting to grow back around it. Set on 160 acres of prairie, woods, and marsh, the new center is both a teaching tool for sustainable design and a community space built to feel warm, inviting, and unmistakably part of its environment. We loved every minute we spent there.
