We spent the summer filming with Owámniyomni Okhódayapi, the organization working to return Dakota presence and culture to the land at the Falls. From the project site along the river, down at Mni Owe Sni, and across to the east bank for the Victory Day celebration, we followed the people and the work bringing this vision to life. The series is built around the three pillars at the heart of their mission: The People, The Place, and The Project. It’s a project we’ll carry with us for a long time.
